Jana gana mana was declared national anthem on 24 January 1950, which was written by the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Every Indian should pay respect to the national anthem by observance of proper decorum. A sense to respect national anthem in the hearts of youth, will strengthen the sense of patriotism in the younger generations. It has the purpose of social awakening, the young generation is the future of the nation and they should have awareness about the national anthem.
The national anthem tell us that India is a diverse nation and there are differences in culture, traditions, religions and languages, but despite these differences, it reminds us that India is united under one flag. The anthem is significant in uniting people and reminding us that there isn’t any difference among Indians.
The Morning Song of India, the Indian national anthem is played or sung at various occasions. From government offices to schools and colleges, the national anthem of India is sung at special occasions. And is respected and proper observance and decorum is maintained when it is played on such occasions.
